Meet Our Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
Pam Dunn has been teaching in the Fayette County System for 26 years. She has taught first grade, cluster (combination kindergarten and first grade), kindergarten and now Pre-Kindergarten. She has been at Burch since the school opened. Prior to that, she taught at Oak Grove Elementary and Peachtree City Elementary. She is a lifetime resident of Fayette County and a product of the Fayette County School System. She had the same first grade teacher as her dad. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education as well as her Master’s degree in Early Childhood from the State University of West Georgia. She also has her ESOL Endorsement. Mrs. Dunn and her husband, Glenn, have been married for 32 years. They have two sons and a daughter. Each of them attended Burch Elementary. All three children are already teaching or are preparing to be teachers. She has a Scottish terrier named Lucy.
Mrs. Dunn believes children learn something every day. Some days they'll bring it home in their hands. Some days they'll bring it home in their heads, and some days they'll bring it home in their hearts.

Our Pre-Kindergarten ParaProfessional
Hello! I am Lisa-Anne FitzGerald and am new to Robert J Burch Elementary School this year as the paraprofessional for the pre-K class with Mrs. Dunn. I have been a preschool teacher for the past eight years in a private preschool and am excited to join the Burch Team! I am originally from New Jersey and have lived here with my husband and three children for the past 21 years. I look forward to my year here at Burch and helping all our students to be the best they can be!
